The Center for Statistical Science of Tsinghua University (TCSS) has opening at Associate Professor position and seeks applicants in the area of inter-disciplinary data science based on Bayesian and/or high-dimensional statistics. Applicants should have obtained a Ph.D. degree in statistics or closely related fields by the time of appointment.
Position：
Associate Professor ，Inter－disciplinary Data Science based on Bayesian and/or High-dimensional Statistics.
Discipline direction：
Statistics - Inter-disciplinary data science - Inter-disciplinary data science based on Bayesian and/or high-dimensional statistics (research direction) - Inter-disciplinary research on public health and social science via Bayesian and/or high-dimensional statistics (research field)
Key responsibilities:
1.Conducting high quality and original research in any areas of statistics and data sciences, supervising PhD students.
2.Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses for 96 class-hours per year.
3.Service to TCSS public affairs.
Skill Requirements:
1.Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in statistics or closely related areas.
2.Applicants have achieved high-quality research achievements in statistics and have outstanding academic potentials;
3.Excellent publication and teaching records.
4.Applicants should be in good physical and mental health status and have a good spirit of teamwork and open communication.
