Tsinghua University’s Statistics Department was awarded “A+” in the “First Times Higher Education Chinese Subject Rating”

Recently, the first Times Higher Education Chinese Subject Rating was released, the Statistics department in Tsinghua University was rated "A+" level. Among the national statistics departments, a total of 4 colleges and universities have been rated "A+". In addition to Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beijing Normal University, and the University of Science and Technology of China have also been rated "A+".

According to the official introduction of the "Times World University Rankings", this rating is classified according to the disciplines of the Ministry of Education of China, covering 89 sub-disciplines. 80 mainland Chinese universities are on the list, covering a total of 1355 universities worldwide. Universities in mainland China perform well, with a score of "B+", while universities in other parts of the world are rated "B".

The best performers in mainland China are Tsinghua University, Peking University, University of Science and Technology of China, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University, all of which have average grades above "A".
